Web solutions can be a minefield for small businesses. There are free solutions with limitations, or hosts where you can build your own. Great if you have the time and know-how. Or if you have the time to learn!
But watch out – with many hosts there are still limitations! Add on “services” cost money. Add a shop front, or pay to access to your meta description so you can actually get your site found. These things can soon add up! Email, your domain name and hosting all charged separately with their own add ons. It can be a learning curve before you’ve even started!
I’m not saying that to scare anyone it’s been my experience over the years! But it’s not that scary, and I can help you out for a fair price.

I’m not gate keeping either. I had these issues with my last host and am more than happy to recommend my own host! I have full control over all my code and no hidden costs. They back up daily. I’ve built many websites over the years. From the massive, painstakingly hand coded barnabybear.net (if you were in primary education in the late 00’s, you might well have used this one!) I’ve created various websites for businesses (tree surgeons, builders and landscape garderners) and primary schools. And of course, various incarnations of my own business over the years. The contents of this web site have all been designed and created by myself.
