Just a quick one because it’s been a long week! But I can’t let today pass without posting this one.
Two years ago today, at 8 months old (around about this time in the evening) my best friend came to live with in her Forever Home. Words can’t describe what a blessing this beautiful Beastie has been since then. Â She’s a faithful and constant companion – cuddled up with me right now – never far away whether I’m in the house, garden or workshop. Â
We may not have gone much further than 250 yards for all but the last 6 months, but wow we’ve made a lot of good memories in the last two years!
Because of her I braved the outside world. Because of her I was able to go to my first LARP and meet some awesome people. Because of her I was able to go to Goblin Town, camp for the weekend and actually make some money! Because of her I travelled to Wales, Silverstone, Castle Ashby, Shakespere’s house and experience a bit of vanlife. Because of her I started going to the gym.
It’s not really a stretch – she is absolutely my best friend and my world.
